You decide whether you would like to let them adopt your baby.

We are here for you to help make the decision that best suits your needs.

Annie & Jet

Dear Birth Mother,

We are Jet and Annie and it is our dream to adopt a child.

We understand that this must be an emotional time for you and appreciate your taking the time to learn about us. We respect your choice and know that it comes from a place of caring for your child.

About Us

We met in college and have been together for 25 years. We have built a loving, fun, comfortable life together with lots of friends and family. We enjoy riding horses and bikes, working in the garden, creating and building special projects on our property that we lovingly call “Good Hands Ranch.” We love to hike, camp and swim in the many nearby rivers. We also love to travel, have been to Europe and explored many beautiful spots in the United States, including Hawaii.

Annie

Annie is a rehabilitation nurse helping adults and elders recover from traumatic injury. She comes from a large Italian family living in the Bay Area and was raised with a great deal of love, respect and support. She definitely learned about tradition from her close knit family. Annie enjoys gardening, canning and preparing fresh food from the garden. Her parents and family come for visits during planting and harvest times, celebrating time together and the fruits of our labor. Following her family heritage she is a great cook and loves to make  delicious meals for family and friends. Annie looks forward to all the holidays and enjoys sharing special moments with our friends, their children and, as our family grows, our own child. Sharing these celebrations and creating new ones that honor his or her individual contributions is Annie’s specialty. With her flexible work schedule, Annie enjoys maintaining the ranch, preparing the meals and is looking forward with great excitement to sharing our life with a child.

Jet

Jet is a strong, confident and intelligent person. She is the Deputy Director of Humboldt County Mental Health. She is thoughtful, kind and fair in her leadership at work. At home, she is warm, loving and caring. Jet is a thoughtful problem-solver and communicates with ease. She has fond memories of her family and her life growing up on the ranch; eating watermelon cold from the creek, many hours training and riding her horses, participating in 4H programs, building, gardening, raising and showing dogs with dad, mom and her sister and brother. Jet is an avid reader and delights in a good book. Jet volunteers to support the Big Sisters and Big Brothers program. She advocates for mentally ill adults and children as well as the homeless. Jet has twice completed the AIDS bicycle ride, riding 560 miles each time and raising several thousand dollars to support and give back to the community. Jet is eager to share her love of the outdoors, animals and life with our child.

Our Home

We have built a beautiful home on 12 1/2 acres in Humboldt County on the edge of the redwood forest. It is close enough to the city for work and good schools yet far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness of country life. A creek runs the length of the property and there is plenty of space for a growing child to explore, catch frogs, ride bikes and horses and enjoy the open spaces living in the country provides.

Our Dreams for Our Family

We have always wanted to be parents and raise a family. Our wish for you is that you find adoptive parents who will be the best fit for you and your baby. Please know that we will provide a secure, loving and happy home for your child. We appreciate the courage and love it takes in making this decision and we welcome the opportunity to share more about ourselves and our dreams.
