You decide whether you would like to let them adopt your baby.

We are here for you to help make the decision that best suits your needs.

Jeff and Liz

Hello,

We are Liz and Jeff. We are delighted that we have been able to connect with you! We began dating as teenagers and have been married for 18 years. We tried unsuccessfully to have a child for almost ten years. Once we realized that we weren't meant to have our own biological children we opened our hearts to the wonderful world of adoption. Eight years ago, we adopted our beautiful daughter Katy. From the moment Katy was born, she has blessed our lives. We are now a happy family of three, hoping to become a family of four.

OUR COMMUNITY

We live in Benicia, CA, a quaint little town right on the water, with restaurants and antique shops through most of the downtown. Our house is in a cul-de-sac of a dozen or so homes. All the neighborhood kids go back and forth playing from house to house. One minute it is quiet with Katy at someone else's house playing, and the next minute the door to the garage opens with a loud eight year olds voice asking if six of the kids from the court can stay for dinner! (Which, of course, they do!)

We are a family that enjoys being active. Our weekends are filled with church, bicycling, and barbecues with friends, runs with our two Labradors (Midnight and Jake), and in the summer 'lots of camping. We spend time with both our families, with Liz's family being close by in the Napa Valley and Jeff's parents who also live in Benicia. We also visit Katy's birth family three to four times a year.

JEFF

Jeff has a degree in Electronic Engineering and he loves computers. He works out of a home office, doing real estate investing, which provides him a high degree of flexibility to accommodate activities with Katy into his schedule. Jeff loves playing guitar (and plays in the band at our church). Our playroom looks like a recording studio with lots of musical gadgets so Katy and Daddy can play music and sing together. Jeff is the neighborhood's local 'handyman', auto mechanic, and general fix-it guru. He builds custom golf clubs ' even better than he plays golf! Bicycling is another passion, and that is something that we do as a family. He is a pilot, enjoying fun flights with friends around the state.

LIZ

Liz has a degree in Finance and is a commercial lines insurance broker. Her career in sales allows her quite a bit of flexibility and the ability to pick her own hours. With the arrival of a new baby, Liz will stay home for several months and later, work limited hours. Liz loves to exercise and gets up at 4:30 am to go and work out with three other moms, who also know that if it doesn't get done early, it doesn't get done! She loves to read, and often finds herself reading 3-4 books at a time. As a result of Liz's passion for reading, Katy has picked up the passion for not only reading, but, overall learning.

KATY

Katy is a lively and bright eight year old. She loves riding her bicycle, playing with all her friends in the court and having a friend sleep over when possible! Camping is her favorite summer pastime. It is hard for us to describe how blessed we feel to have Katy as a part of our family. Each and every day, we say a prayer of thanks to God for bringing her into our lives. She has also been asking God to send her a baby brother or sister soon!

VALUES

We look forward to sharing our love with another child. As with Katy, we want to provide our children with a strong faith in God, a strong sense of self-esteem, as well as help them develop their own natural interest and talents.

Keeping the lines of communication open with Katy's birth family has been helpful for all of us, but we recognize that the amount and type of contact is a private matter that evolves over time. We would certainly be respectful of your preference in this area.

FINALLY

We can only imagine how long and hard you have thought about an adoption plan for your little one, and we want to wish you much peace for you during this time and for the years to come. We recognize the strength and courage it takes, and we have been prayerful for you, the baby, as well as for the adoptive parents with which you will develop a lifetime bond.

We look forward to speaking with you. Please feel free to call us toll free at: (866) 707-0448. You may also call our adoption attorney, Susan Romer at (800) 823-6788. We are continuing to pray for you, and wish you luck with this very important decision.

God Bless!
