adopt your baby.
We are here for you to help make the decision
that best suits your needs.

Jon and Kris
Hello! We are Jon and Kris. We want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We realize you are faced with a difficult decision and we admire your courage and strength. We hope that by reading this letter you will find comfort in knowing what a loving and stable family we can provide.
About Us
We met on our very first day of college. We were in many of the same classes, shared many of the same friends and shared an instant connection. We fell in love ten years ago and have been married for five years. Our four years of infertility have strengthened our relationship and we are closer than ever as we begin our adoption journey. We are so thankful to be able to fulfill our dreams of parenting through adoption. Our family and friends fully support our decision to adopt.
We are best friends and love spending time together. We are a young, active and energetic couple who love to run, play golf, travel, hike, and ski. Jon just completed his first marathon and together we plan on hiking Half Dome in Yosemite this year. We look forward to sharing experiences like these with our children. We also love to work on home projects and garden together. We can’t wait to transform one of our guest bedrooms into a wonderful nursery. Our backyard is big, sunny and grassy and will be perfect for children to play and grow in.
My Wife, Kris (written by Jon)
I am truly lucky to have Kris in my life. She supports me and comforts me, and I look forward to her sharing that love and care with our child. In her I have my best friend and the most wonderful partner I could have imagined. Kris loves to work out at the gym, run, ski, golf, cook, scrap-book, plan our vacations and entertain friends. She is a great cook and makes the best cupcakes ever! She can’t wait to bake birthday cakes for our children and scrap-book all of the pictures we will take when we are blessed with a child. Kris also loves holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Bella, our black labrador, even gets involved and gets dressed up every Halloween. Kris (32) earned a Bachelor’s degree at Loyola Marymount University. She has worked as a Human Resource Manager for the last six years. As fulfilling as her career is, she looks forward to staying home and being a mother to our child.
My Husband, Jon (written by Kris)
Jon is strong, kind and loving and he is going to be such a great dad. He has a wonderful sense of humor. He is by nature optimistic, positive and easy to be around. I know he will be patient, gentle and affectionate with our children. Jon is very athletic and loves just about all sports. He is looking forward to supporting our children in whatever activities they choose for themselves, and also hopes he can be involved as a coach. Jon is great with the BBQ and entertains friends and family in our beautiful backyard. Jon (32) earned his Master’s Degree in Business from Santa Clara University and has worked at a local high tech company as a finance manager for the last eight years. Jon enjoys his career, but his family is always his first priority. As hard as he works, he always makes time for me and looks forward to being an equal parent when we have a child.
Our Home and Community
We live in a wonderful home in San Jose, California. We are one block away from a beautiful park full of roses and large grassy areas where all of the families with young children go to play. We can’t wait to bring our children to the park to smell the roses, make wishes in the fountain and play games in the park. We are also within walking distance to the neighborhood library where they have story readings and puppet shows. We live in the same neighborhood that Jon grew up in. Our children will attend the same schools that Jon did as a child. Our neighborhood is safe and quite, and there are many young children in the area. We know and socialize with many of our neighbors and feel very fortunate to live in such a wonderful and supportive community.
Extended Family
Both of our parents are thrilled about us adopting. They will become grandparents for the very first time! We are both lucky to come from very stable families with parents who have been married for over 35 years. Family is very important to us and we are grateful that we all live so close. We are happy that Kris’ parents have chosen to retire nearby in Lake Tahoe and that Jon’s parents live right around the corner from us. Jon’s sister, grandfather, aunts, uncles and cousins all live within 3 blocks of our home. Jon grew up in a very close Italian family who love to get together often. We usually see or talk to them on a daily basis and our weekends are often filled with family BBQ’s and birthday celebrations. We enjoy gathering for the holidays where there can be as many as 30-40 family members!
We each grew up with one sibling. Jon’s sister is engaged to be married and Kris’ brother and wife are expecting their first child this year. We are thrilled that our family is growing in so many different ways. Our friends and family are all very excited for us to adopt. They know how much we long to start our family. Our family is a huge source of support for us. They will all be a great help when we have children of our own.
Our Dog, Bella
We have a beautiful three-year-old black labrador, Bella, who may be the sweetest dog ever. She is well behaved and goes with us nearly everywhere; trips to our family beach house in Carmel, family outings, and to the mountains to hike. We love taking her for walks and we can’t wait to get a baby jogger to take the whole family all over the neighborhood. While Bella is a bit spoiled, she is a loving companion and she makes us laugh everyday. Bella is a favorite of all the neighborhood children who often stop by to play with her. She loves children and can’t wait to have another family member to love!
Our Values
Our child will be raised with Catholic values and taught respect for others. We will also encourage him/her to pursue their dreams, whatever they will be. We are committed to giving our child every opportunity in life. We are committed to helping them pursue their own special interests and will make certain our children have the financial ability to go to the school of their choice. We also believe that a family should give back to the community through volunteer work. We want to teach our child to give as well as receive. Our parents instilled this value in us and we wish to continue this with our children. We also believe that travel is a part of a child’s education and plan to travel with our child to make them aware of the world we live in.
