Dear Birthmother

Our desire is to share our lives with a child and fill our home with more love and laughter. We want to grow our family through adoption and guide our child to make good choices, express their individuality, creativity, and have a concern for the world around them

Our names are Nancy and Pierre and we thank you for reading our letter.

We admire your courage and compassion for considering us to be the adoptive parents to your child.

We have been married for four years and are ready to become parents. We have not been able to have children of our own but our desire to have a child in our lives prevails.

We are so excited to have the opportunity to parent through adoption. We have three friends with adopted children and have witnessed their joy and gratitude from open adoption.

About Pierre

Pierre is a wonderful and loving husband. He cooks amazing food. He loves being outside and his curiosity always takes us to new places. He loves to travel and is always surprising me with weekend get-away on the coast.

Whenever we are out hiking in the hills, or anywhere in nature, Pierre must know all the flowers and fauna to make the trip complete. Pierre loves working as an architect. He is always exploring new things and is on a never-ending quest for knowledge.

As a talented abstract painter, Pierre lets his passion for architecture and nature shine through his canvases. Pierre is committed to everything he does.

Since Pierre is originally from France (he moved to the U.S. with his family when he was twelve years-old) your baby will be exposed to both French and English languages, and naturally French cuisine!

Pierre will embrace being a dad the same way he does any new adventure — with passion, love, and excitement.

About Nancy

Nancy comes from a big Italian Family. It’s no surprise that she enjoys being with friends and making people feel welcome and comfortable. She likes her home to be a haven and a fun place for family and friends to hang out. Nancy has the ability to do things with ease and makes life look effortless. She is committed to her Family and Career and is always coordinating fun time with friends.

Nancy shines in her profession. She is respected by her staff. She conducts her daily activities with enthusiasm and with a perpetual smile. Nancy works at Pottery Barn Kids’s in charge of the Visual Merchandising for the store. Nancy is great with kids and loves to be around them. She has a natural ability to connect, entertain and draw laughs from children. Our friends love to bring their children over for “an afternoon at Nancy’s”.

Nancy will be a great mom. She will insure a creative and fun environment filled with love and laughter.

Our Home

We live in a charming 1920’s Victorian home nestled on a tree-lined street in San Francisco, California. We have a lovely garden that gets plenty of sunshine for our growing assortment of flowers. The house is a great place for lounging around on lazy days and for entertaining. The neighborhood is diverse with young, elderly, teenagers and toddlers. We have plenty of playgrounds, schools and open spaces nearby to explore.

Our Cats

We have two cats we raised from kittens. Zach is the curious one and is always outside exploring. Jack loves to eat and give hugs.

Our Families

We are both blessed with truly loving and supportive parents. Both sides have been in long lasting relationships based on honesty, love and true respect for one another. As a couple we continue to share these values. Nancy’s father passed away and is buried with honors in Arlington Cemetery.

Our Friends
We have a wide circle of friends of varying backgrounds and interests. We have many friends with children several of whom are adopted. We love to share our house with them for a dinner, BBQ or the occasional “drop on by”. We are fortunate to have as many dynamic and supportive relationships.

We understand the importance of involving those who best benefit the child and are open to learning about your needs and desires to truly making this an open adoption.
