You decide whether you would like to let them adopt your baby.

We are here for you to help make the decision that best suits your needs.

Stephanie and Brad

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our letter. We can only imagine what a difficult decision this must be and we admire you for your courage and selflessness. We hope that as you learn a little bit more about us, you'll consider us as adoptive parents for your baby.

We're a young, successful couple who have been married for almost 7 years. We met while working and immediately knew that we wanted to spend our lives together. In 2002, we were blessed with a baby through open adoption . . . and now we have a sweet, energetic, lovable little boy named Jack. Our lives have been deeply enriched through the addition of a child and we love having a toddler!! Now that Jack is almost 3, we feel the time is right to grow our family and we're all very excited about the prospect of a new baby.

Our Home & Family
Family is very important to us and our daily life revolves around Jack. Although Stephanie enjoyed her 16 year career, she left her job so that she could stay home and be a full-time mom to Jack. Jack is very social and loves to engage with people of all ages. At his pre-school, he's known as 'the hugger'! When he's not playing with his friends at school, he's running through the sprinklers, making castles in the sand, collecting bugs, or going on adventures with Grandma.

Jack is also very fond of cooking. When Brad is at the BBQ, he grabs his chef's hat and tools and joins right in! Dancing is another of his favorite pastimes; we frequently hear him yelling, "I boogie!" as he runs to turn on the stereo. He's a truly amazing little boy who takes joy in experiencing everything around him and he'll be a terrific big brother.

We spend as much time as possible with our close friends and extended families and we feel very lucky to have such a great, loving network of people close by. We also love to travel.

Before Jack was born, we spent time in France, Spain, Mexico and the exotic island of Bali. One of our favorite places in the world is Hawaii, where Jack has already spent many hours playing on the beach!

We live in a safe, friendly neighborhood. There are great parks and libraries, and the schools are among the best in California. Our spacious 4 bedroom home is perfect for raising a family and we spend a lot of time playing in our beautiful new backyard. We're right next door to the local elementary school, 5 minutes from Stanford University and 30 minutes from the beach.

Brad talks about Stephanie
Stephanie is a natural care-giver, a wonderful mother to Jack and a terrific wife. Although she is an only child, she is 'Aunt Stephanie' to all of her friend's young children. No matter how busy things get, she always makes time for birthday parties, Christenings, little league games, and graduations. She's also great cook and loves reading, working in the garden, and taking pictures of Jack!

Stephanie was raised in Palo Alto by her mother, who lives close by and is an integral part of our daily lives. It was just the two of them growing up so they are extremely close and share a very special Mother-Daughter bond. Stephanie's childhood was heavily focused on education. She was an avid reader who had a book with her wherever she went. Her mother is an amazing woman who has been a teacher for over 35 years and spends as much time as she can with Jack.

Stephanie talks about Brad
Brad is a smart, funny, responsible man who takes comfort in home, friends and family. He is also hard working and dependable, traits he learned growing up on a farm in California's Central Valley. Every Sunday, the family woke up early and went to church and Sunday School. Brad is the youngest of 6 children and has 13 nieces and nephews so his big family gatherings are always lots of fun! He received his undergraduate degree in 1988, and after three years of working full time and going to school at night, he graduated from San Jose State with an MBA.
