You decide whether you would like to let them adopt your baby.

We are here for you to help make the decision that best suits your needs.

Thomas and LeeAnn

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are LeeAnn and Thomas Kay.  We are thrilled that you are considering us as possible parents for your child.  We admire you for doing what you feel in your heart to be the best thing for your child, and how difficult and brave that choice is for you.

We are a happily married Christian couple, but unable to conceive children due to infertility.  We are now turning to adoption to make our dreams of having a family come true.  We have a tremendous amount of love in our hearts, and we want to share that love with a child.  We promise to you that we will protect, love, cherish, support, nurture, and guide your child though life’s triumphs, challenges, and disappointments.  Family is a priority in our lives, and your child will always have a “soft place to land” in our home.

Values and Beliefs

The absolute most important things in our lives are love for family, respect for others, and kindness.  We were both raised in Christian homes and our families have always taught us to treat others how you would want to be treated.  We value education and will encourage and inspire a child to reach their fullest potential.

The greatest gift God can give us is the wonder and love of a child.  We cannot wait to share our family, friends, traditions and day-to-day life.  We know raising a child is not an easy job but we know the manner in which we were raised has given us a firm foundation on which to start.

Thomas about LeeAnn

LeeAnn is such a sweet, loving and giving person.  She is sensitive of those around her and the absolute love of my life.  I knew she would be my wife the moment I first saw her and it wasn’t her outer beauty that gave me that feeling, she radiates beauty from the inside out.

LeeAnn is my best friend and I love doing things with her.  She’s very pure and innocent and willing to try new activities with me like a great loving person.  LeeAnn is very family oriented and would never miss a family member's birthday, anniversary or special event no matter what part of the country they live in.

I believe God lead me to my soul mate and she is the greatest wife and will be the greatest mom.

LeeAnn about Thomas

Thomas is a very kind, gentle, supportive, compassionate human being that I am lucky enough to call my husband.  When I first met Thomas, I was immediately attracted to his very warm smile, and his ability to make me feel like the most important person in the room.  He is a devoted, loving man that continues to impress me every day with his sincere, generous, and humbling heart.

Thomas is very confident and proud of his heritage.  He continues to teach me about his culture, and he does it in such a loving and supportive manner.  Shortly after we met, he gave me a quiz on African American history.  He has this amazing ability to make laugh, laugh, laugh!  I adore him and am very proud to be his wife.

Kids love Thomas, and Thomas loves kids.  Whenever Thomas is around children you can always find the kids hanging from him, usually 3 or 4.  One will be on his back, one around his waist, and 2 around his legs.

Thomas is truly an amazing person, and I thank God every day that he is in my life.

About Us:

Thomas loves sports and enjoys playing basketball, working out, running, snowboarding and bike riding.  I try to keep up with him and also enjoy working out and bike riding.  He is teaching me how to snowboard!  Together, we enjoy cooking, gardening, dancing, traveling, going to the movies, baseball games, picnicking, attending family events, and just staying at home.  We laugh a lot and just enjoy being together no matter where that is.

We both come from large families.  I have 3 siblings, with a large extended family of over 38 first cousins, and even more 2nd cousins.  My parents are happily married, and will be celebrating their 42nd Anniversary next month.  Thomas has 10 siblings and several nieces and nephews.  All play a very important role in our lives and continuously offer us love and support.  All are anxiously awaiting the newly adoptive member of the family with open arms.

Thomas has a college degree and served in the Air Force for 5 ½ years.  He is a software engineer and has been employed with the same company for over 15 years.  I am an Executive Assistant and have been employed with the same group for 10 years.

Our Home:

We own a new 3 bedroom home in South San Francisco in a quiet, private, residential community.  Our neighborhood is very diverse, and close to parks and recreation areas.  The mountains are only a few hours away for snow boarding, skiing, sledding during the winter, and water activities in the summer.

Closing:

Our wish is for you to have peace of mind in your decision.  We hope you will find it in yourself to let the child you are carrying become the child of our hearts and home. If you entrust your child to us, we want to assure you that this child will know of the adoption process and what an incredible woman you are to make such a selfless decision for their life.  We are open to letters, photos and possible visits.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about us, and for considering us as the parents for your child.  Please email us at thomas.ay@rcn.com.  You may also contact our friendly adoption attorney, Susan Romer at 1800-U-ADOPT-US (1-800-823-6788) or email her at adamsromer@aol.com.

Warmest regards,

LeeAnn and Thomas
